Gallery Attendant
The Center for American Values is currently seeking a Gallery Attendant to join our team in Pueblo, Colorado. This part-time, public-facing role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with visitors, values American history and civic education, and wants to contribute to a mission-driven nonprofit.

About the Role
Gallery Attendants serve as welcoming ambassadors for the Center, helping create a respectful, informative, and engaging experience for all visitors. This position supports daily gallery operations and assists with special events and programs as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Monitor gallery spaces to ensure visitor safety and exhibit security
- Answer questions about exhibits, honorees, and the Center’s mission
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visitor-ready gallery environment
- Assist with events, tours, and educational programs as scheduled
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and attentive demeanor
- Interest in American values, history, or public service
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Schedule
- Part-time hours, primarily weekdays
- Occasional evenings or weekends for special events
Compensation
$18.00/hour
